You should be okay. They probably wouldn't be surprised if we all walked in armoured and tooled up. I think that's why they've chosen a location that doesn't appear to be associated with them, but it's nice to pleasantly surprise them. They're not keen on meta-humans though, so Frank might not get a great reception, but then again they are expecting runners so should know roughly what they're getting. Chopper's particular brand of diplomacy might not go down well either.
Up to you guys if we all go in or just myself and Leland, but bear in mind how hot these guys are on customs and tradition and how that might affect our payment.

Have we been picked up yet? I'll stick the rest of my armour, my shotgun and my sniper rifle in the boot of Leland's car when he turns up. Along with my webbing and ammo pouches. Can never be too prepared.

Editz - I'll take my modified modified tazer too, I'm dying to try that thing out and see what the power level has been upped to.Frank wrote:I'm not a fan of anyone who isn't a fan of me and mine, they make my fists itch. I want to be on an open connection the whole time if I don't go in, I don't like being out the loop. If not then record everything so me and chopper can hear the deal.
Al and Leland are both better at talking to men in suits, I'm better at making them bleed. I'll stay by the car with chopper and have a smoke, maybe have a nose around too.

Before Leland has time to fully park the car, Chopper comes sprinting out of the bar. His knuckles are lightly grazed and he appears to stuffing a roll of notes into one of the many pockets in his long overcoat. Sliding into the car and tapping the dash, he turns to Leland with a big grin on his face:
As the car drives off he is leaning quite far out of the window - hurling obscenities at a group of large men stumbling out of the bar and laughing his head off.Chopper wrote:C'mon magic boy! Don't wanna be hanging round here too long!
Chopper wrote:So, we off to see those yellow cut throat bastards then? Shame I didn't have time to get changed really - I had tailored 3 piece suit ready for just the occasion.

Did I mention that within the city limits, no one needs to drive? The car has an autopilot, kinda like a super-GPS.
You roll up towards the office block, and before you really get a good look at anything, a Japanese man in a very sharp suit waves you in to an underground car park. You've no idea how he knew it was you guys, but he was clearly expecting you.
The carpark has a few other vehicles in. You park up next to a huge truck, looks like a very businesslike armoured 4x4. Kind of thing security teams get ferried about in.
The only other thing of note in the cellar is the lift, with two Japanese men in suits standing to each side. One could well be the one you saw outside, they look like they have been stamped out of a press or something. They both have very uncaring expressions, and are both wearing dark glasses. They appear to be paying you no attention.
Just as you park up, the lift door opens. Its empty.

Ooh, a point-and-click adventure!Joose wrote:Nothing happens. The door is still open. There's no buttons inside the lift, and no AR controls. The guys standing guard don't move.
