Probably best to keep it valve based, more options, but all cheap/free for most of us.
:above: this. The games suggested so far, and ones similar, I reckon.

Insta-win I tell you.

Left 4 Dead gets played pretty much every night; so it's probably out.
The Ship is a cheap and gigglesome alternative as well as HLDMS. We could also have Garry's Mod spiced with a creativity contest (and probably huge cock-shaped flying objects tinted magenta). An old alternative I like is Ricochet, it has about 30 minutes of replayability but that is pretty much fun.

Also, I wouldn't mind switching DoD:S for DoD or keep that on a rotation since DoD is basically trading graphics off for gameplay.

That's pretty much all retail games, though there are some mod alternatives here;

Zombie Master - Your good old zombie game with an added RTS touch.
Hidden - I don't know if anyone remembers this, we played it a few times. Again, zombie-ish game with one invisible guy handing out surprise buttsecks.
Jailbreak - an excellent mod initially designed for UT:GOTY; I've never tried this one personally but I remember the UT one being the most fun I had in online gaming.
Sven Co-op - HL1 based pretty good co-op game.

Oh and about 5 wednesdays, you just have 2 wildcards, no big deal.

This is just a real raw idea, but how about we do a skirmish* in one of the classic source games once a month, and the winner can choose the random game at the end of the month.
It doesn't necessarily have to be about kills, it could be about anything.

*I know what the word contest does around here, so i'm going to avoid it.

Last night's CSS was good, as was the one a couple of weeks ago. It's nice to see so many 5punkers drawn together by a game again, I'd missed seeing a long column of twinkling green teamspeak lights. I think it was nicely spaced out, freshness plan is going well so far.

I fucking love Ricochet!

It would be good if we could vote to keep some maps being played longer if we're enjoying them.

Well, DoD:S was good fun, It'd've been nice if everyone who'd scheduled themselves had played though.

Was good. Unfortunate that we got some ninja concerts (ladies) happening to ty and fab.

I know it's been said before but I'll say it again. If you sign up please turn up.

If you change your mind take your name off or if it's last minute a quick post or poke to say you won't be turning up. Only takes a few seconds and it's nice to be nice!*

*Except for Berk, it probably hurts him. he's picky.

I didn't even notice it scheduled, otherwise I'd have joined and turned up. The icon is too much like the COD icons, which I felcher as I don't like CoD much.

Oh, pictures. Ah.

Either way, DoD:S was fun, Pete and myself having lols after everyone else left as well.

Next week is HL2:DM, as decided by those people who were on TS. Everyone has access to it. Go get it!
