Only if you can justify the completely random recoil on the weapons.

Looks interesting.
if there's enough demand for a DoD:S server, we can have one.
edit: shame it appears the mod died ages ago.

It should still work with a current DoD in-5punk, if there is interest.
Still available on
ModDB .
EDIT: Nevermind, it does not appear to be functioning properly.

I tried some CSS last night and it was easy to pick it up again. Still has annoying sounds (which I disabled right away), constant complaints of cheating and calls for votebans. The old girl hasn't changed.
Although a lot of servers have this pointless Deathmatch mod. Why not play a DM game?

Normal CSS is still as boring as ever indeed.

I don't think I made it clear but I did quite enjoy the brief game I played. I was a little negative.

You did make it clear that you enjoyed it, my response was directed at "The old girl hasn't changed.".

If map cycle is currently:
In cycle - "Everything we usually play"
Out of cycle - "Everything we don't usually play"
Can you change it to:
In cycle - "Everything we don't usually play"
Out of cycle - "Everything we usually play"
Ta.

Code: Select all
de_dust
de_aztec
de_cbble
de_chateau
de_dust2
de_piranesi
cs_italy
cs_havana
cs_office
de_train
cs_compound
de_prodigy
de_tides
de_port
de_inferno
cs_assault
de_nuke
cs_militia
is the maplist, sort it yourselves.
I'm not gonna put them all in for obvious reasons, like the fact a css game rarely lasts 5 maps.

I need to have play and might tailor it a bit, but Deej's list is fine.

TvCT, CTvT,
TvCT, CTvT,
TvCT, CTvT,
TvCT, CTvT,
Dunno what we have it on at the moment, but it seems to last forever.

That list looks cool, but WHERE IS AZTEC?
its a classic, we need that.
Also, i think with the votemap thing set up as it is, we can have quite a few in there no? lets just add more, better safe than sorry and choose them according to what people want to play.

All of that stuff is done, apart from the mapcycle.
I'll put that in once someone puts the prefixes on it.

Also, do you want a time limit?
and how short do you want the rounds to be?
Our usual is 5 minute rounds and a 20 minute time limit on each match.
Given you've complained about it lasting forever and asked for 8 rounds, I can only assume you want maps to last less than 20 minutes, so that's at *most* 2:30 a round.
but, if that's what you want...
