This has been an excellent year for games. Fallout 3 is GOTY for me. But if you mean games played with other 5punkers only then I guess that's WoW. But didn't people play a lot of CoD4 in the earlier part of this year?
Yeah, sorry. That's exactly what I meant. Or at least what I was thinking of. But is doesn't matter, nominate games for whatever reasons you want. Was COD4 this year? I think some of it was, wasn't it.

The CoD4 that was this year wasn't the good kind of cod.

It ended up that way, but I think it was nice right at the beginning of the year. I don't think I started playing until about november.

Vampire of the year

I've disqualified Berk because I'd probably exactly the same if I didn't have to go into work - in fact the past week that I've been off I've probably played the same amount of hours. Due to this I'm nominating Hehulk for the phenomenal amount of hours he's already sunk into WAR (574 hours in total, 30 hours in the last 7 days - that's more WAR than I've played WoW over the course of 2 years, and I've been playing it a lot recently!)

Talented Bastard

Grimmie can draw the arse off an orangutan (whatever that means), but for me Stoat just pips him to it. Lovely drawings, lovely comics, and his code fettlings are sublime.

OMG Haxxor

Slinger is indeed one talented fucking bastard, but across the board and over a substantial number and variety of games, Berk has shown himself to be one haxxoring cupcake.

Liver of the Year

Personally, based on the last two months, I'd have nominated myself. However as none of you fucks witnessed the devastation I'll nominate Pete - sterling work in being Kevin Costner to Berk's Witney Houston, and always has an amusing drunken anecdote.

Meat Shield

I feel bad because everyone has picked him so far, but Mr. Johnson's resilience is for me the embodiment of the 5punk spirit.

Master of the Rings

Two way tie here between Baliame and Chickenz. Bubbles utilises the scheduler to full extent, and Chicken pushes through game revivals when the rest of us just talk about it e.g. BEEF. Plus, they're both twats.

5punker of the Year

I'd go for Dogging everytime. Er, I of course meant Doggers. Admin, baby juggler, peace negotiator, diplomat, GM (can has SLA now plz?) - basically everything to everyone (although that does make him sound slightly slutty) and always make me laugh.

Game of the Year

Despite thoroughly enjoying Fairyland recently, I still don't feel it as a true 5punky game. Fallout 3 was very good, but once I got to the end of it I fell out with it (did you see what I did thar?). Overall the game that has given me the most hilariously 5punky moments this year has been COD4.

Overall though, everyone is a winner. <cheese>I love you guys!</cheese>

Given the game is ~103 days old, 24 days seems pretty significant to me.

Quick calculation works out as 5.57 hours of WAR a day for 103 days.

I'm afraid I've not gotten to play actively with too many of you guys over the majority of the year, computer dying, work/family time and all.

But the one person I would feel comfortable nominating is:

5punker Of The Year
Dog Pants

That is if my vote counts, I have no idea if my citizenship as a 5punker stands in lieu of gametime with 5punkers....

I haven't even played half of good games that came out this year since my PC is a bit too old now to play them
