It's going to be a toss-up between eve and soup for me. Eve sub costs for about 2 1/2 years vs a completly new computer just to run soup properly. Either way, both are expensive, but for cost vs hours, there's only one contender

Although Lat has failed in his use of the word buy

Mine will have to be Eve-online as I was paying for about 3 years and about 8 or 9 months (and oddly, I was paying month by month for about 2 years of that) which would be roughly some money (I have no idea how much the monthly subs are)

Google Online Advetisement in Space by subs, with Furious Fisting Furries a close second. The individual game purchase that caused me the most pain financially ironically is BEEF, as it was the deciding factor in building a new machine.

Most expensive non sub game for me would be an immaculate boxed copy of a Snes RPG called Earthbound, it' NTSC as they never released over here but I got a habbit of collecting SNES stuff.

Got for about £120 back in the day.
