And Jack - Soul Gems, you have to cast a Soul Trap spell on someone and then kill them while the spell is still in effect to trap their soul in an empty gem. Harder to kill = stronger soul = more points when recharging magic items. Or just join the mages guild and they'll recharge them for you, but at a price.

Cheers, I'd found the recharging people, but thought the price was a bit high.

Aparrently the shiny rocks that can be found in some of the old elven ruins can be used like soul jems.

I wouldnt know, though, as after I cleared a place out of them, I sold it all for some spiffing armour.

Enjoy going outside then!

There's a guy in the gardens in Cheydinal I think, near the church, who starts you on the vampirism cure quest, if you get tired of it.

Cure disease potions, or some of the churches have shrines in which will cure all your ailments.

:above:
This

The church worked for me before I had any cure disease potions, also I think you can use 'restore' potions, like if you have a strength draining disease, use a restore strength potion, not actually tried this though.

I think I tried a restore postion but "Ze potions, Zay do nothing!!" I'll try a church. I did find a shrine thing before but no idea where it was now. Ta

I *think* theres one a bit to the north of Skingrad, a little chapel type thing next to a cottage that will cure you of all problems, providing you're infamy level is lower than your fame level (they don't cure sinners).

I read that as '+3 conflict if you wear women's clothes'

Probably makes sense!

Just said in the other Oblivion thread that i'm a level 13 Argonian marksman/melee light armour fighting thieving security alchemist acrobat ninja conjurer destructionalistic* restorer (probably the reason why I enjoy the game so much). I think I'm the sign of The Shadow, if that's the one that gives you 60 seconds invisibility a day. Aside from getting a beating regularly from boars, I'm enjoying it a lot!
