How do I know if Age of Conan is any good?

I've only played 1 game where you needed to team up with people to get anything done and that's FFXI. You could solo till about level 10-15 but beyond that it's pointless unless you like gaining 30k xp off of mobs that give you 10xp a pop, and that's if you can even kill the easy mobs. WoW, CoX, and LotRo are almost a single player game compaired to FFXI which I think is why alot of people left FF for WoW since you can't do many quests/mission/level grinding without 5 other people.

I'm surprised though some of the other MMO's haven't stolen the 18-64 person instances that FFXI has, or let you join 2-3 parties of 6 into an alliance for big big boss fights or hell any fight if you wanted too. Though I guess the 18 person raids are kinda like that.
