I've just seen an advert for someone wanting to swap a PS3 with 4 games for a Wii. I don't know what the games are, but I'm a bit tempted by this. Would it be a silly idea? I know that the xbox is generally the more popular choice here, but FJ's poll between the two was well over a year ago now. Would the same kind of comments still stand with regard to the games available?

Depends what the games are, and which version of PS3 it is.
Either way you'd've made some sort of massive profit there.

Apparently it's the 40GB one, with Tiger Woods, COD3, Motorstorm and Uncharted. Not exactly brilliant games by the looks of it, but if I can convince him of a swap rather than part-exchange then as you say, a bit of a profit.

Interesting that nearly all the 360 games talked about anticipatorily have been released, whereas pretty much none of the PS3 ones have.

Well the guy with the PS3 seems up for the swap, so assuming it hasn't been mistreated then that seems like a good deal to me, and as Stoat said, a decent profit too. I've not really been aware of any 360 exclusives that really grabbed me, and given that I'll not get masses of games for whatever I get then there are plenty to keep me occupied on the PS3. Plus, GT5.

I have a PSP, but it was actually a JOKE! HAHA, I MADE A FUNNY! I love my PSP, and hopefully will be able to link it up with the PS3 for a few games.

I have the old-style DS, I'd swap that for a PSP and buy myself a new DS.

Actually, I wouldn't. I don't really want a PSP.

Xbox 360 Arcade Got. GTA:IV Got. Wireless entertainment pack Ordered. Will sort out xbox live etc later and add you fuckers, and try out this GTA multiplayer stuff.

it really is worth upgrading to HD if you can.

i was skeptical about the difference but it really is noticeable, even on the little 19" HDTV i have (its the biggest i can fit on my desk, and i don't want a wall mounted one), only cost about £250 in sainburys
