http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/news/beta-keys might interest some people, although I suspect Berk might be the only person to benefit from this!

Lee, apparently the game works in FF3 if you use IE Tab.

That works, thanks. Now it just tells me that it can't find a suitable server over and over, the forums reckon they're all full. I'd much rather have a server browser than an auto join button though.

Yeah, I've just given up on trying to join too - think that the servers are probably just full with it being a weekend. Either that or some of them have fallen over.

No server browser, no dice.

I'm not suffering Play Now and I never will.

Seems the servers just fell over yesterday, they worked fine last night. To be honest, the Play Now thing isn't too bad, but it remains to see how it would be when trying to play with 8 mates at once.

Yeah, Battlefield server browsers have always been awesome. Who'd want to avoid having to use one?

BF: Bad Company has no server browser and it doesn't hurt the game. I guess the option would have been nice but the matchmaking on consoles is superior to the PC platform in my opinion, for the 360 at least, so it's not required.

:above: is the big concern for me, free or not, If I can't choose to play with mates, it's not getting my time.

I agree. It's only likely to be a game to get much of my time if I can mince around with you lot in faaabulous costumes. If I'm stuck with randoms all the time, then bollocks to it.
