Wow great responses, i'm overwhelmed thanks again for the warm welcome.

I was told to take screenshot of an error I encountered seems like somekind of graphical issues I'llpost them here if you dont mind

If you guys know a better place for me to post these pics let me know.

is your graphics card a 7900GT by any chance?

looks like either heat, or an unhealthy graphics card in some other way (dead memory)

the hardware forum is probably a better place for this, as more people will see it, but either way

You could try updating your graphics card drivers. If that doesn't work then your graphics card is probably overheating as berk says.

The anomalies on those piccies say too much g-ram heat to me. Possibly a lack of power to the gpu as well.

Long shot but mobo chipset drivers playing funny can sometimes cause this too.

Does this happen in other games too? Play a few graphics intense games and see if it's reproduced.

Looks to me how eve sometimes fucks up after you alt tab back into full screen. Not aware of a fix, other than alt tabbing out and in again.

Geez this is awesome, you guys are all techies aswell?

My graphic card is: 7900 GS

now i want you to know that i played Armed Assault and it crashed to desktop and then i startet eve. it seems that the only cure i have now is to reboot when a ctd happens, then the graphics are normal again.

Armed assault is a terrible game for Graphics cards btw so i guess Armed assault is more to blame than my video card..

I'd say the majority are at least slightly nerdy

From what you've said, I imagine the problem is software, rather than hardware.

You could try this to warm your card up a bit, to see if you can replicated the issue.

I think Berk has hit the nail on the head there, that range of cards have a nasty habit of cooking themselves after about 1 year- 18 months (My corruption isn't as bad as yours, but I only have a 7600 and so shouldn't run quite so hot)
On the plus side I seem to have been able to persuade the missus that it is pretty much dead and that an 8800 is needed
