No, just no.

1) lack of upstream on home connections.
2) I'm not dealing with such things

live no, but you could save the replays and post them. Not quite as sexy, admittedly, but its close enough.

How about the rules? I think we should have some kind of standard match set up agreed now, so we dont have to argue about it immediately before the game. Stuff such as game speed, starting cash, limited or non-limited etc. Maybe also maps.

Personal preferences: Little starting cash and limited super-weapons. Having lots of monies and unlmited superweapons turns it from a game of cunning and stratagy into a superweapon building race. Which is shit.

I think it'd be a bit crap to limit superweapons, especialy as it can be deemed a strategy all in itself. How does $20,000 sound as starting cash? I'll also have to choose a map to keep consistant.. I'll figure that all out when I schedual the first match.

If you want to watch it, I think there are spectator slots?

I'd be happier with superweapons limited for the whole thing. I've seen and heard matches when it was just a race of who could build the most super weapons. Those are never fun.

An easy strategy, against which the only reasonable defence is exactly the same strategy. Its just a rush of building, then KABOOM, somone wins. This is not fun.

Plus, it dicks about with the army balancing something chronic. Some SW's take less time to charge than others, so if its just a race to build, SW general wins every time. This is not so good.

That amount of cash sounds good. And I agree with using the same map throughout.

I vote not this. But if I am outvoted, I bags the SW general, just to piss of grimmie

How about we have to pick a side and stick with it throughout the tournament.

Well, the first match should be today, presuming that grimmie and tez have not killed themselves with alcohol last night. Me v Grim, about mid-dayish.

as for when you will be playing, I would grab whoever you are up against in x-fire next time you see them, and sort out times amongst yourselves. Will speed things up somewhat, I imagine.
