A three week trial? MADNESS

As far as CoH/EVE go, CoH is shit but very amusing and has a lovely character designing thing. EVE is great but nothing laugh until it hurts funny ever happens, even when playing with other 5punkers.

Eve isn't meant to be funny, but suicide runs, attacking sabres with haulers, bumming everyone in sight, scat fights in local scaring off tards, endless discussions about biscuits and cake and stuff make it funny. don't forget making rabbit snort his brains out of his nose in TS with explanations of the Spider man, Wolfbagging and the everloved Donkey punch. That said, I accept that this is a general blanket of 5punkiness that the community thows over all the games it plays.

and teh Nemisis looks good, but ... isnt, sadly. I have a Hound (the minnie SB) and that is all kinds of fun.

I think alot of you are forgetting, Berk has tried eve, twice. We were all rude cunts and never said hi or asked how he was doing so he left

It's true, us lot are a catalyst for hilarity (along with Teamspack) whatever game we're playing. It's just that some games lend themselves better than others. The faaabulous pride march and the Spartacus thing both had me crying with laughter. Mind you, I rarely played Eve on TS so I've probably missed out on hilarity there since.

It is, as has been said, horses for courses. EVE has much more long term appeal (if you like it at all, of course), but CoH has more opportunities for hilarity.

Im not saying nothing funny ever happens in EVE. But CoH regularly has me worrying about my bowl control due to teh funnies.

And yes, CoH is quite repetitive. But whilst you are doing those repetitive things you are a FUCKING SUPERHERO! YEAH! This makes the most dull task have much increased awesome.

For instance: I dont know any other MMO that makes traveling from place to place so much fun that you occasionally do it for no reason. In other games, its a bore. In CoH, its a highlight.
