it's amazing what the brain will screen out when it comes to being subjected to constant stimuli (twss) yet it is registered in your subconscious and when removed will elicit a "ahh that's better" kind of response.
Skyboxes are meant to stay on. esp. if you want it to record nighttime programmes.
