Minor threadjack:
Windows XP. I cant seem to find the list of tickboxable startup items anymore. System information just doesnt seem to contain those options. Ideas, anyone?

That should be around £100. Assuming your memory will work in the new mobo.
Where?

I've looked around and found the mobo for £42.82 on Dabs.com, but I've not seen the cpu for less than £80, and I've not had any luck finding a bundle with the 2 included either.

My memory is 2x512MB Samsung PC3200 and I'm guessing that it would be compatible....

pc3200. Ay that'd be find, it's just nice standard DDR400. UNles you get some kind of hyper expensive board that takes DDR2 (More commonly labbled as DDR556/DDR667) then you'll be find.

I was just doing a quick in my head estimation based on prices here in the US. You Ram will work fine.

Try a Nvidia 6800XT, affordable and should do the job: -

I got a second hand 6800 GT, you should be able to pick up some kind of 6600 variety for about one hundred english pounds
Cheeper than that, you can get some x800's for that price.
