had a go on it; it looks like it could be alot of fun, but since this is my first MMONG, it was a bit weird for me, and for some reason it LAGS LIKE AN UTTER BITCH. i turned down all the graphic options on the very lowest, but to no avail. it completely fails to run properly...

any advice?

Connected to pirates, I just found this game via a Sony advertising e-mail:

It has pirates and giant squids.. er.. well.. krakens.. but nearly the same. It can't be that bad! :)

haven't explored it fully yet, but the sea battles are great fun and maybe, just maybe i'll buy it.

Armageddon day has happened in the open beta for PotBS. Skillbooks are available in the auctionhouses. Each book will jump you up one XP level, and they cost 150db each. All ships have been seeded in the auctionhouses.


Oh, and everyones been given 1000000 gold doubloons. yar.

Apparently Paying for one subscription for this game is cheaper than paying for 3 Eve subscriptions.

Oh I follow you now, I thought you'd seen actual prices, hence the :?

I think about £10 is a sensible limit for a MMONG, I hope it's not over that, be cool if we can pay in $$ too as that always works out nicely for us.
