Roman, the last room on 18 advanced, was it just me who finds it a truly haggard experience? I gave up last night, but I've mentally worked a way out, I just have to try it. I actually dreamt about portal, and

All in all, this didn't get anywhere near the hype of TeeF, and it really is a one time 'fuck no!' deal, apart from custom maps etc. But for an immersive single player experience, valve has hit the fucking bullseye with portal, especially the ending credits, fucking jaw-droppingly genius.

As far as I can tell, AS and BM were govt. funded labs for fucking about, most likely competing for budget (see: slideshow in portal) AS also seemed to be quite bitter about BM getting all the pennies.
I can only assume portal happened before the black mesa incident as the world wasn't fucked at the end, (also figure that they moved out to sea after the portal incident, due to (probably) whatever happened at portal).
Either way, looks like ep3 will be on a boat with a portalgun
Assuming the Portal Gun and Grav Gun are related, maybe a cleanup crew or some such recovered crap from AS and took it to black mesa for analysis?
/probably needs to get over portal at some point soon.

Yes, AS were very bitter, and also yes, I think the gravity gun is an early prototype from AS, it looks rougher, and could well have been salvaged from the ruins that you as the female with leg brace things create in portal 
The boat in the ice is maybe where they put whats left, and sent it off to north/south pole/alaska? Where it seems to have had another accident 
Ep3, if it is, will fucking rock, imagine a gravity gun, and a portal gun, and sending stuff through cycles of holes, then sending them flying at super high speed at other stuff. Also, it will have the flying combine overmind maggots in, and they killed eli, the fuckers are gonna pay!
