But the option should be there. When we are on the finished product, and we have griefers, then berk will then have admin powah to kick them. Removing the option from the beta looks like enough people have gone 'waah, look at me I'm throwing my rattle from the pram waaah' that valve have just made it gone for good. Yes griefers are annoying, but you get them anyway, no matter how much you limit someone's ability to be a dick, there still there, swinging away. Let the server owners/admins make the choice at least.
