Its clean and simple and therefore nice. The windows xp theme looks like it was drawn by a 5 year old in paint.

I don't need my desktop to be all nice and pretty. I want it to be as unobtrusive as possible, but still usable. I'm sure that there are probably some themes out there that can improve on it, but Windows Classic does what I want and it takes zero effort to use.

Yeah, the XP default is like that as well.
If that's your taste then so be it, I've just got used to not looking at the flat grey windows of the past.

I've had something similar happen when i have had MSN and Firefox open, Closing one of them seems to fix it... Don't have a clue WHY it does such a thing, tis a pain in the arse

ive had this problem once or twice before. no idea why but either refreshing 'explorer' or just shutting off one of them seems to fix the problem
