Sorry for any offense, but some common sense might have the need to be applied sometimes.

You should assume that a post containing nothing but links, and porn ones at that, is not just a friendly greeting. If you're unsure of the origin of an email, or in this case a post and its links, don't touch it. Treat it like email spam, because this is essentially the same thing, and it is trying to catch you out.

If you have any doubts about the validity of a link from this forum, ask someone what it is before clicking on it. You may get horsed from time to time, but none of the genuine members here will ever do anything malicious or harmful. I'll sometimes ask about a link before following it, but generally to avoid NSFW pages when at work.

To be honest if any other member had clicked a spam link and got a virus from it they'd certainly have receievd a lot more abuse than you have, take it in the spirit of 5punk and leave it at that :ahoy:

:above: This. Part of 5punk is the gentle and friendly abuse that we all give and receive. Grimmie's head was well and truly messed with by us all on CS:S last night, and deject still gets ribbed about a comment on the BEEF loading screens, but neither of them take it to heart, and neither of them were meant to.

Also, in general the best way to end an argument or disagreement is to walk away from it. If you don't want to see any more LOLs at your expense, just don't read this thread any more.

I take partial responsibility as I deleted the user and then forgot to come back and destroy the thread. Which leads me to another point for future reference; if the user is marked as "Guest" they have been deleted and thus are bad.

Took a long time for the kittin to appear! Argument is officially over now. I suggest delete the thread, or at least horse all the links in that first post.

Edit: 'tis already been done.

I vote for the latter - this thread made me laugh so hard, both because of the felcher and because of Pete's... slip-up. (*belms*)

edit: excellent.
