And this ladies and gentlemen, is why I won't be buying BF2 until I find out what DOD Source is like.

I was wondering where all the servers went until I realised most of the good ones had reverted back to 1.0, so if you still have 1.01 installed i reccomend you uninstall bf2 then reinstall it so you can find some good servers to play on.

despite the problems it's still a great game and I can put up with it if it means I can speed across marsh land in a jeep running down the enemy, suicide bombing can be quite fun too

The servers are 50/50 at the moment. Some using the patch, some not. and then if you want to be ranked then it's even more of a pain. PSI.

I think i'll refrain from playing for quite a while. fucking EA tards.

i installed the patch about a week after it was released, noticed the servers get alot better in that time. then i installed the new patch and its even worse than its ever been

I installed that patch then loaded bf2 up, got to the browser and tried to join a game but i got rejected without an error message. So I uninstalled bf2 and tryed to re-install it where i got as far as the preparing for install screen, the little green bar shot up to full and crashed and has done every time, so i've give up on bf2 for now until ea pull their finger out.
