Well, I think that there are many things that would fall into the category of being pornographic that would not be considered fwapable by me, but then different strokes for different folks. A faaabulous geriatric orgy isn't top of my list though it must be said.

I've got Half Life 2 and Day of Defeat but I haven't played them much. If there's a game on and I'm here I'll join in though. I might have a look at Eve but I'd probably end up addicted.

For FPS action, Battlefield 2 (aka BEEF) is the main one at the mo besides CS:S, and we have our own ranked server. However, current thinking is that once Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is out then that may become the game of choice for the masses. Alternatively, it may suck the big one. Not really sure yet. No release date is confirmed yet either.

I'm not really into that sort of thing at all. I tried Anarchy Online and Second Shite and hated it but everyone seems to like Eve and WOW so there must be something there. I like FPS so I'll get that Battlefield 2 and Quake when it comes out. I wasn't sure whether to get 2 or 2142 so I just got CS. I used to lurk alot and post sometimes at b3ta and remembered when this started up so I thought I'd join.

BEEF is certainly one of the lasting 5punk fave FPSes (see also CoD:UO and CS:S)

2142 has some following, but not nearly as large or rabid as the BEEF crowd

There's one or two of us that play 2142, but everyone else hates us for it.

Eve-baiting isn't so fun without Hehulk to rise to it.

Beef should be fairly cheap for now, and has a good couple of months left in it yet I reckon. It may even be like CS:S/CoD and persist as a game to be played on a whim every so often.

Also, if you're an FPS fan you should try SWAT4 and Raven Shield. They're co-operative games and are great fun. If you ask nicely around here someone may point you towards a floorware version.
