He's about 20m away (so long range) and running, but yeah that's a hit. His head explodes like a watermelon. As if prompted by the shot the ground begins to erupt. A dozen ragged, filthy figures bursting from under the rubble and debris all over the courtyard. It takes them a second to orientate themselves, but unsurprisingly all attention seems to be on Hal. Bullet time?
TSD: He's about 6m away, so yeah two phases. If you're hacking him on the way past and don't slow down I'll let you hit him on 2 with a running penalty.
Specifically, he will be heading back towards the rest of the group, aiming to go past Eraser in such a way that he doesn't get accidentally beheaded along with the cannibal he is after. I'll possibly be joining in the gunshoots once I'm out of the way.
Combat, yay! Grimmie peeks out and brings Bertha to bear on the guy to the lower-right, announcing it loudly.
Holy shit! I'm gonna shoot this little bastard!
A gentle reminder to audibly announce your targets so we don't double up
It's been so long, I forgot everything. I think I can DEX check to bear and aim simultaneously, but I want to turn my laser sight on too, so maybe I'll just be patient.

You can bring to bear for free on a dex check if you're set up on overwatch like if you're covering a door or waiting for someone to break from cover. You're pretty much waiting for the target to cross your sights rather than moving your sights onto them. This situation's a bit odd because you were all set up in ambush, but you didn't know where the bad guys would appear from or even if there were any bad guys there at all. Since it's a house rule and the normal rules have you spend an action bringing to bear in any situation I'm going to say you need to spend the action.
Bear with me today, I need to do this when I'm at home in front of my PC (as opposed to on my iPad or phone) but it's likely to be a bit of a busy day. I think I made a house rule to say you move on non-action phases (but can't act, obviously) since otherwise fast people with low dex would be slower than people with high dex. So the all the cannibals except the two nearest Eraser (where the shot sounded from) move towards Hal. I'll update the map tonight.
Righty then. The cannibals do act on 1, but they're not in range to do much. They mostly seem to be getting a gauge of the situation. A couple of them produce bottles filled with some sort of yellowish green liquid, the rest are hefting various melee weapons, mostly metal bars and crude spears or axes. They all move though.
Shooting goes before melee so Eraser's attack comes last, but when he does he makes contact with the nearest one without slowing and his chainaxe almost rips the cannibal in half.
