Re: Spare Steams
Are these DOTA keys for the full version when that is released or just beta access? I have one already, but I wasn't sure if I'd have to spend $30 anyways once it's released.

I believe it gives you both. Paying just gets you a key early, if you are a billy no mates and don't know anyone who has keys to throw around.deject wrote:Are these DOTA keys for the full version when that is released or just beta access? Re: Spare Steams
From what i remember reading before the game will be free to play when it comes out of beta with a cash shop to sell cosmetic items and such.
The option to buy into the beta happened a few months after the launch when they sent out a few more keys and people where trading them for full price AAA games, i guess they noticed and thought if there are people who wanted into the beta enough to pay for it then they might as well be the ones getting the money.

OK, I just spent the $2.50 on a Dungeons of Dredmor Complete to gift because the game is awesome as hell.
Thus I have Portal 2, Civ V, and Dungeons of Dredmor Complete to gift.

Re: Spare Steams
I've just bought a new graphics card and it has come with a key for a copy of Sleeping Dogs. I already have Sleeping Dogs. Anyone want it?
Its a reasonably solid GTA style dealy set in Hong Kong. Its very much a case of "If you like GTA games you will like it, if you don't you will hate it".

Re: Spare Steams
As much as I would, I've had more than my fair share lately so I will step back from this one

Re: Spare Steams
Wouldn't mind it, but as y'all know my Steam library is XBOX HUEG LOL already so if someone else wants it please give it to them instead. If absolutely no one else will take it, I will though.Joose wrote:I've just bought a new graphics card and it has come with a key for a copy of Sleeping Dogs. I already have Sleeping Dogs. Re: Spare Steams
Just jumped on the THQ humble bundle and have a spare copy of Saint's Row The Third. Anyone want? It's great, great fun and I'll happily do a bit of coop over the weekend. Let me know!
Re: Spare Steams
What is it? I keep hearing people saying it's great but the descriptions sound as vapid as every other GTA or FPS type game.

Re: Spare Steams
I've got a spare Steam copy of Sleeping Dogs I think.
I've also got a spare code each for Farcry 3 and Medal of Honor:Warfighter, but they're via the Ubisoft website downloader thingie.
Edit: MoH:Warfighter is for Origin and not a free game, only a 20% discount.

Farcry 3? I'm somewhat interested in that, can I take it off your hands?

SR3? It totally is that, but it revels in the absurdity of the GTA style genre. Its very entertaining. And silly. So silly.friznit wrote:What is it? I keep hearing people saying it's great but the descriptions sound as vapid as every other GTA or FPS type game.
