Well if everyone's ready Hernandez will set of at a run following the lights, occasionally turning to make sure no ones getting left behind.

Alvrin will stay essentially in lock-step with Hernandez until he can get a better idea of what's going on around.

On that note, did my scanning for nodes get anything unexpected?

Good rolls by both of you.

Joose - The rather complex and scary one we discussed has gone. You can see everyone elses pan and you're still picking up Aysun's pan and the comms from the ship.

Pnut - Hernandez spots the absolute fuck out of nothing following. There is a few patches of blood leading down the path you're on amongst two sets of footprints from quite heavy boots. You also notice through the darkness that whilst one side of the path is steep cliff up, the other is steep cliff down. The path leads into the mountain ahead of you, with a few twists and turns between the group and the entrance.

The snow isn't actually falling at this time, it was being kicked up by the ship. With the landing lights out you can all make out a path from the lights that stretch along it, either side is total darkness after a few metres except for Hernandez and Dr Smith.

The temperature is well in the minus due to the lateness of the hour, everyone is feeling the cold to some extent except the toy. The snow isn't as deep on the path so no-ones having any trouble negotiating it.

How far away is the cliff from where I am? I'm thinking that if the ship isn't too far down, I do have climbing gear and I could go see what's going on.

Otherwise, we should get to some shelter and such.

Map!

Image

green speech bubbles + brown streaks = trees.
black lines = mountain up slope
red lines = mountain down slope
blue stars = landing lights
orange blobs = path lights
grey square = cargo crates
red/yellow star = crash

You're not far at all from the cliff edge above the crash. You've only been walking a few seconds in game time. The closest bit of cliff is about three/four steps to the side of the group.

Assuming that I got the numbers/frequency/bluetooth pairing/whatever, I'll try to raise Aysun with my mobile.
Aysun! Aysun are you there?

Deej - You get no response from Aysun.

For those of you carrying on, a few twists and turns amidst the lights and you find yourself at an opening in the rocks, it's man-made and you can only see a few meters into the fairly well lit tunnel as there's a rock wall with a sharp turn in the path just in front of it.

I'll keep scanning for new nodes. Its pretty much all I can do at the moment.

Actually, did my Tower manage to get any closer without being shot at?
