Frank will also go the bar, nursing some buzz lite he will feed Chopper some strong alcohol until he stops skirting around what he's been up to because he's too pissed.

As funny as that is (although it looks like a load of blokes on a stag do to me), I think this time we're not waiting on Joose. What we thought was a bar was a district. Maybe we should head over there until the heat cools off down at the homeless shelter.

I assumed something was going to happen with the shelter - once they realise there's no one gassed inside I thought they might send people out.

Yeah. If I were Grimmie I'd saunter up and ask what the fuck just happened while banging on the door.
Unfortunately I'm Nikolai, and I'd rather stay in my van..

Yeah, I was waiting on you guys. I assumed the "to the pub!" was a joke.

Right, well, to clarify the situation:

Other than the shutters clanging down and the gas noises, there has been no activity from the shelter. In fact, those of you with the relevant skills can do a corporate security knowledge skill check on that.

You want to hang around and see what happens, or are you running to cover?

Cover, eh? Uh oh.

I'll push my Ferret out and set it off after the group.

Nowt happens for a few minutes, then the shutter over the front door rises up. Looks like the gas has cleared.

I'll wheel my ferret up to the door and peek inside.
Do you need perception chexx?

Edit
Sensor (3) Perception (4) Jumped in (2)
5,4,3,2,4,2,2,6,2 = 2 hits

I think those are my bonuses? I need to send my cheat sheet to work.
Can't remember if my control rig allows me a bonus on stuff like this.
Or if the hotsim hack alone gives me a bonus. kittens mittens durr.

Yep, control rig gives you a +2 to *all* drone actions when jumped in, and running hot gives you a further +2. So the roll above should have another 2 dice on it. You can just roll the extra 2 if you want.

I did, just in case. It was a 4 and a 1. Boo hiss.
The description in the book says +2 for control rig on all "Vehicle" tests, but I didn't know if it meant generally, or on vehicle-skill tests.

Stoopid rigging rules!

Yeah, its a bit ambiguous. The consensus in Dumpshock is that it means any tests relating to the vehicle (or in this case, drone), because if its just vehicle skill tests it makes it pretty shit. Thats not to say they don't still argue the point incessantly, but hey, it is Dumpshock.

Anyway: The room is empty, as before. The internal shutters have re-opened too, but there is no sign of anyone on the other side of them.
