I'll do a Detect and Forensics roll to see if I can give substance to this spooky feeling.

Detect: 10,4,+8 = 22
Forensics: 8,8,+5 = 21

Why do I get the feeling these good rolls will abandon me once we get into combat?

It has cock all to do with detect and forensics; whatever had injured that Shiver feels like a disease of the Ebb. You can taste it in the air all round you at the intersection, but it's far more concentrated in him and in the corpses.

I don't see why the Shivers need the footage, I doubt anyone is confused as to what happened and I didn't get a great look at any real action.

The Ebb is pulling at you? This was a Thresher attack, and Thresher uses DU. Maybe it's something to do with the DU rounds they were shooting all over?

I'm guessing it's the DU - either that or some other nasty that Thresher use to fuck with Flux users.
