Then he misplaces the phone quietly and returns to the team.

The doors open. There's nothing in it.

I honestly don't know, but that sounds good.

Aaagghh. Slow slow slow.
Grimmie prances into the centre of the room and points with both hands at the stairwell.

One of you wanna hop in that elevator if you're feelin' brave?

Don't worry, while you've been fannying about I've put three Thresher assault teams in position.

Did I say Thresher? I meant DarkNight.

I wasn't fannying about, I was going to check the "offices." :(

Has anyone with access to the blueprints of the building managed to work out if there is an emergency escape route from the boardroom? And does anyone know what it is they do in this building?

Ooh, I've just had an idea too - I can place one of my mini cameras and microphones in the lift and send it up to random levels. They're small enough to not be seen without careful examination, and it should give us a heads up on any traps.

Deject: The offices are pretty cluttered, but nothing out of the ordinary strikes you.

Roman: To save a bit of time I'll answer on their behalf;

The only escape routes from the boardroom, as far as you know, are the elevators and stairs. The stairs being the fire exit, fireproofed and hardened to survive the rest of the building being in flames. Not uncommon in Mort (although not a great solution either). It's feasible that people in the boardroom could be lifted out through the glass ceiling. The building is the admin HQ for Hijoule Motors, a manufacturer of performance cars. There's two of them in the lobby. They're expensive.

I don't suppose a computer use roll will get any more info on that would it? Also, how would I get access to the glass roof area? Could I go to the floor above and get in from above?

Send up the mini-cam and we can get a look.

The glass ceiling is the top floor, it's basically a goldfish tank sat on top. What kind of computer information are you after?

Access points for the boardroom. I'm going to go up to the floor above the boardroom and take a look.

The boardroom is the top floor. Above that is a glass roof and then sky.

Roman: Care to choose some random floors? It's a lucky dip, and I've got them all planned out. If not I'll roll some tomorrow.
