If we're going to take them on we'd have to do it one at a time, but I don't think they'd be willing to play ball. I reckon unless significant back up turns up we just observe from a distance.

Then again it's really more of a team decision - what do the rest of you think?

Tiny Raider, keep out of sight whilst tracking them. If we enter combat, I shall draw their fire, allow you to take your shot from safety.
EDIT:Forgot my big redness!

Up ahead Deject hears a mechanical screech, like the noise the powersuits made earlier but higher pitched. The sound of gunfire seems to be getting lighter.

Trust me, I'm not sticking my neck out one bit further. I doubt my 10mm HEAP will even penetrate those guy's armor. I'll just try my best to stay out of sight while helping get intel for the heavy hitters that are surely on the way.

Slightly late due to being out all day long, but.. VOILA! MINTY TICTACS!

Unless I can find a surefire way of blasting one of the fucks out of the sky without attracting the others, I'd like to tictac us all into safe positions.

Well you're pretty safe where you are now, since the fighting's several blocks away. Another tirade of whooshes and the gunfire tails off as the screaming jump jets whine off into the distance towards the wall.

Moving up to where the Thresher were spotted you see a truck-sized smouldering drop pod embedded in the road. Wreckage of cars is scattered for about 50m in every direction, many of them on fire. You can hear the wailing of Fire Shiver APCs in the distance, and you know from experience that they'll probably cause nearly as much damage as Thresher as they bulldoze their way through anything in their path to get to the fires that could cause a domino effect of collapsing buildings. Around the area are scattered corpses, mostly civilians but also a couple of Shivers and Dark Finders. There's no trace of any Thresher casualties.

Ignore that, me wasn't reading the post correctly, even Eraser isn't that daft...

I'd like to climb as close to the drop pod as possible and take a look around.. maybe see if there is any information inside. I asked Grimmie if I could use his climbing equipment already, and he said yes.

Detect (4) 9+3= 16
Climb (5) 5+2= 12

It doesn't take a lot of climbing to get in, and once inside there's not a whole lot to see. There's six sort of chambers that you presume the troops stood in, held by inertia dampening machinery, and a few displays that look like they're for diagnostics. There's no sign of any method of control. You did notice on the way in that the thing is still pretty hot on the outside.

As you're having a look about a flight of Kilcopters skims overhead between the buildings, and the rearmost one breaks off to land nearby.

I'll do a paramedic roll and see if there's anyone still left alive who might possibly survive. I'll also look around for anything that the Thresher troops might have left behind.

Medical, Paramedic: 5,10 + 3 = 18
Detect: 6,3 + 3 = 12

One of the Shivers does actually appear to be alive, just. You can only tell by the fact that there still seems to be some blood pressure forcing claret out of his armour.

I'd like to open up his armor and try to stop the bleeding. Also, I'll hit him with a shot of Pain Solver. Should I make another Paramedic roll?

by Dog Pants
Yep, make 2 more rolls. You're making progress stabilising him but he needs more work.
