I'll get a class 1 to be going on with but upgrade to a class 4 asap.
Guess I'll hit the nearest markets first, look for anything I recognise initially then ask the proprietors if they've seen anyone matching the suspects' descriptions.

You only really get pawn shops and specialist black marketeers in suburbia. The markets in Downtown are more like the ones where you pick up random stolen goods from little stalls. However, getting a fridge through the gates/sewers is tricky, and sure enough upon entering the first pawn shop you see your sofa, looking a little damp, sat in a corner apparrently waiting to be taken into the warehouse.

Now I think that's reasonable, but please do not mistake my generosity and polite demeanor for softness. As I said, I'm not a "hard case", but I am a little frustrated today, so I would really appreciate your assistance or it will be more than my SCL card I'm waving around.

Fucking hell, I picked a bad BPN for the first forum one. Looks so pedestrian compared to Shadowrun. Maybe I should make the sofa attack you like that bed did.

You can look, but it's all crap. You can't pawn SLA stuff - Ops only technically hire the stuff they buy, it's still owned by SLA.

The investigation style of SLA seems to suffer a little from the speed of play over the board, so:
Don't feel the need to play out every conversation. I'll skip over unimportant stufff with results so we don't end up taking ages over minutia.
Example:

Also, don't be scared to xfire me to clarify, go over something that might take a bit of back and forth, like buying weird kit, or just go over whats happened so I can steer you in the right direction. Normally I wouldn't give hints, but with the way things seem to be easilty forgotten in this format I'm prepared to remind a player of stuff his character only did an hour ago in game time. I'd rather drop a few hints than see the whole thing grind to a holt.
