I've made some brick blocks, not sure why we'd need them but there you go.

Seems like explosions happened and the button/switches for the stairs are fucked. Not sure how to fix.

Until the town's built up a bit more and we can get proper lighting in we're going to have a creeper problem.

I feel partly responsible for the broken staircase, I was playing without sound and noticed a creeper creepin' round, as creepers do. He followed me for a bit but I figured I'd lost him when I got to the stairs, but like I said I wasn't wearing my headphones so I didn't hear any explosions.

Better make that 'entirely responsible'. Sorry guys.

Library walls are up! Will need to knock holes in it for the windows at the necessary points. Will carry on with the roof if there are no objections?

The first gatehouse is up, marking the boundary of the village to the south west. I think that's an achievement. Some of the outer roads are starting to link up too. I realised today (after building a big stone fortress wall) that the town is surrounded by a wooden palisade, so we're going to be needing a lot of logs. I've made a start anyway and it looks quite nice.

I made a secret enchantment table in the library, but because I don't understand pistons and redstone at all it's just a big gaping hole in the floor right now. Anyone that can brain a hidden entrance is welcome to it.
