I kept the base just to see what sort of evil the Illusive Man is made of, I kinda like masterminds with questionable morals and intents who can get you any information with two phone calls, and I mean ANY information, seriously, is there no one who notices a dead Reaper except the guy that's your boss?

Meh, anyway, the ending is the same, except the explosion is blue, the Illusive Man doesn't shout your face off, the star behind him turns red, and the conversation between you and him ends with him looking at a hologram of the base.
I've not played this game, but I get the impression from reading bits on here that it's about shagging your way through the crew of your spaceship then having a fight with someone who has interrupted your quest for sexual conquests. Amirite?
It's totally pandering to the lonely nerd demographic, but I don't care. It's a shame that you can't bang Samara. Having sex with a 1000 year old bad-ass killer would have been the best bragging rights.

Well yeah, it's not Star Trek or Star Wars yet, but it's getting there.
And it's a shame you can't bang her daughter actually, it'd be fun to get a "critical mission failure" in the middle of a cutscene.
I really like Mordin. His loyalty mission really endeared me to him, and the rendition of Pirates of Penzance had me laughing my arse off. I'm pretty sure he's my favourite character. I never saw the dialogue that Bali posted though. Shame.
Spoiler:
I brainwashed the Geth but blew up the station. I had a big argument with the Illusive Man, told hem he could work for me or get out of my way, and then hung up on him. The next sequence showed a fleet of Geth ships near that Geth station from the Legion mission, with the Normandy in the middle, and panned in to Shepard stood on the bridge.
