Why does Cage think quantity is better than quality...oh yah, he's american.

Do we need another vampire movie? Although, its an original vampire story...well, the part about the majority of the world are already vampires. The body bank looks straight from The Matrix and other things but I stopped caring.

The writer/director brothers only have 1 other movie to their credit which was critiqued a "D" so, I don't know how they got the money to do this film with some stars.

There was an exclusive new trailer on AOTS/G4 yesterday but I can't find it. It was this and about another 1m30s. Looks sweet...IMAX methinks.

Uuuuuh-huh. Why does everything have to have dramatic sounding hip-hop these days? Because the kid's black?

Still, Jackie Chan is great, I like the twist of setting it in China, and the chopsticks thing at the end made me laugh. I'm keeping an open mind.

Hip Hop with an oriental twist. Could be quit good really as the core of the Karate Kid is quite solid and JC is pretty much always brilliant.

I went in highly skeptical but that Karate Kid trailer impressed me, it could be passable or better.

However, Hit Girl would KICK Karate Kid's ASS (another Kick-Ass trailer):
