I was getting pissed off with the dwarf bit, especialy how I was forced to choose sides when I really didn't want to.

Yeah I didn't like that. I was trying desperately not to use my knowledge of the Dwarf Noble campaign as well and roleplay my character based on decisions she'd make given what other people say about the sides. There was precious little to go on, so I went with what the merchants said about them.

Hehe, just finishing that now. I actually quite liked it, moreso having started as a Dwarf Noble since that coloured my decisions based on my background and what I knew of the history. It'd be interesting to know if I'd acted differently had I not started there. It's exactly this kind of thing that makes the game so good - none of the decisions are obviously Good vs Evil, but all have consequences in the future.

Only fairly recently did it, L13-ish, but I think enemies scale to your level to some degree. Being inside it's easy to get overwhelmed, but the usual tactics of pulling them back through a door or into the corner should work. You can do various deals with NPCs to lessen the number of fights if you're not too worried about roleplaying a goody-goody.

Bit of a bastard if you're really stuck, people have said it's one you have to do in one go, or you can't get back in. Might be better to load a save from the camp and try later.

I did Soldiers Peak around level 7.

The outside courtyard was difficult unless you run to the very far corner so to avoid all the ranged fire and draw them in groups, and I think the hardest bit was probably
Spoiler:
depending on the options you take, I decided to accept the demons offer but made it close the Veil first before I went to the tower and spoke to Avernus, but I didn't kill him so I had to betray it, but the hardest bit was doing the closing of the Veil set piece, hard creatures spawn in small waves, I suspect if you don't get the demon to do it Avernus will, but I couldn't kill the demon in the commanders room with her guards, kept getting deaded,
but it wasn't too bad with my choices.

Whywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhy does the soundtrack that comes with the game not have the damn 30STM song on it!?!?!?!?!? :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

and for added emphasis of my displeasure after looking for 10 minutes to even find the damn ost :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Guess if that's my only complaint after 130 hours it's not too bad, but still.... no 30stm song damnit! This is war! :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

I just noticed the digital deluxe edition entitles me to a helmet, a book and a staff, but I haven't come across any of those, where the hell can I get them?

In the game under downloadable content, there's a Redeem Code button that takes you to their website. Put every key you have in there and it should unlock your stuff. It should then show in Available Content on the page in the game and you can download, then activate it.

I didn't have the deluxe version, but that's how I got my preorder rings and stuff.

That's what I did but, there's nothing there besides the warden's keep, blood armour and shale.

EDIT: are these perhaps preorder content? They shouldn't be according to steam.

Did you check the people who sell stuff in your camp? Bergen's Honor is sold there, so is Final Reason. The only thing you should get when starting the game is the attib book.

There were 2 books if you got the preorder on steam. 1 is for attributes, the other was skills or a talent book, I can not remember. Steam says you only get the attribute book if you buy the Deluxe Ed. So the 2nd book was the preorder one.
