Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
Nope and nope, it's another electronic lock identical to the last, except not all rusty and nackered.
I forgot to mention about the corpses (sorry, Sprog harassment was distracting me), each one is either clutching or has nearby some form of crude weapon. A kitchen knife, a metal bar, a hockey stick. None appear to have been used in anger.

I'll see if a Forensics roll gives me anything:
2,10,+6 = 18
2,10,+6 = 18
Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
All the bodies look to have died from multiple gunshots.

Any bullet casings on the floor?
Current theory so far: a previous Ops squad gunned these people down, now their ghosts haunt the building never to rest until their vengeance has been sated.
Maybe.

Yes, you find them scattered around amongst the dust and debris. They look to be 10mm.Roman Totale wrote:Any bullet casings on the floor?

I'll look around for any factory equipment and/or computer stuff that looks like it still has power.

Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
Not a thing. The only things with power in them you've seen since you entered is each other.

Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
Well unless someone magically learns electronic lockpicking real soon we're probably going to have to just bust this door down too.
Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
This one does have the access hatch like the last one.

Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
Are you taking your trusty metal bar out from under the other door?

Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
Probably better to hack off another one if that's possible. I'm sure it will clang shut if we pull that one out.
Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
Not a problem, you can use the other half of the one you cut off. It's slow work, takes a few minutes, but you crank the door open enough to stoop through it. Beyond in the darkness there are more machines, more closely packed but otherwise similar to the room you're in.

Re: SLA Industries: Binary Soul
I haven't really gone in to the next room just yet, just opened the door. I can't think of anything else to do here though, might as well move on.
I'll move into the next room. Actually, I do have a question: Are the environment & motion scanners functioning normally or are they exhibiting the same symptoms as our comms and IR/UV?

Eraser, when it's time for him to go through, will pull the same move on this door as the last one so he can get through.

They look to be fine.deject wrote:Are the environment & motion scanners functioning normally or are they exhibiting the same symptoms as our comms and IR/UV?
This one isn't damaged like the last one. The concrete around it is in pretty good condition and the metal isn't rusted. It gives a little but it's not shifting. The Shutting Downs wrote:Eraser, when it's time for him to go through, will pull the same move on this door as the last one so he can get through.

I'll start methodically walking around the machinery in this room just to see what's what. You can try to crank it open more I guess. Who made you so big anyways?
