New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
When this happened I hopped on the server to check database connectivity, it worked. But by the time I'd done that the forum was back anyway, so not a good test.
The Apache logs just say the same as I've already posted, not informative, as are the page grabs above. We need someone that knows PHP debugging to make progress.

Never had an issue myself. FWIW, I'm running 2 other forums, both on Dreamhost and neither of those are having any issues either.

I've optimised all the tables, don't know if it will help. Will check for queries that are taking overlong.

And again just now. Something is definitely playing silly buggers.
Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Main url now redirects to new front page instead of forum index. Your forum accounts should work on this part of the site too. Let us know if anything weird happens.

Bit of a problem on the sizing of the avatard. Apologies for shit picture I uploaded in a hurry. But that aborted brain scan is meant to be my gabbling psychotic mouth doodad.

Also, poked the TS server and reloaded to see what affect it had, seems to be trouble. Picture size a bit less silly.

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
The werdspeak issue is likely too small a timeout on repeated requests, which DP can probably look at in the plugin settings.
Your avatar, in short, is too fucking big - right clicking it on the forum and choosing view image demostrates this. I don't think we've enforced a size limit, other than perhaps a KB one, and the forum resizes it to a maximum height and width, 80x80 though more commonly Grimmie's are 72x72. Since only you will ever see it in that window I'd suggest you resize it and upload it somewhere then add it to your profile to fix it. I would have done it for you, but CS3 doesn't seem to have ImageReady as part of it anymore, so I'm a bit lost.

Yeah, the TS widget is upset at multiple requests in too short a time. Seems to have only started doing that recently. I think it might be server side though.

Ah, so it's just a case of the forum limit not being applied on the wordpress front page. I'll ensmallificate it.

Can everyone see the Fri-games event I've added to the front page? And if so how does it look when expanded by clicking on the 21 in the 5cheduler because to me the writing is the same colour as the background.

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
I can see it, but I possibly wouldn't have noticed it unless you pointed it out. When expanded it is a bit difficult to read.
Already mentioned I know, but I've seen 'Error (ID 3331) flood ban' where the TS dobber should be a few times.

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
I think the text colour needs some work on the 5cheduler popups.

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Is it possible to move the add event button closer to the 5cheduler for cack handed types like me? I just spent an age clicking on things looking.
Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Totally, I expect. Haven't a fucking clue how though. Anyone?

Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Also appears there's still issues with loading the TS widget I'm still getting a banned from reloading message.
Re: New Forum, bear with us ... (bug reports, etc)
Grimmie, is there a setting on the TS server for max poll attempts or suchlike?
