How were you lot drunk for your GCSE's? I'm not sure I'd ever had more than a pint by that time, let alone had access to more/other booze.

Corner shops I expect. I'd never had more than a couple of pints by then either though.

My brother had just returned from a trip to (I think) the Czech Republic, and had brought back a lot of nice beer. It was kept in the garage as there was so much of it, and no one seemed to notice when it went missing. Of course, you couldn't just take one bottle - you had to remove an entire row or people might have got suspicious.

I generally had access to booze from an early age anyway because I got served at quite a young age. Problem is now that everyone assumes I'm 10 years older than I actually am.

So you're actually only 35?

My first drink was aged three when I drank a bottle of aftershave, brut I'm told. My first proper alcoholic beverage was a pint of beer aged five. My dad took me to the pub and sat me under the table, so I stole a pint and drank it.

By my gcse's I'd been drinking in a most nights of the week fashion for about a year.

As for Roman - I thought the ring that ruled them all gave you unnatural life and extended it hundreds of years?

Oh wait, that's gollum. :P

When I thought this was a movie trailer

I want to like this; Seems a bit BSG goes to argentina though.... I'll still watch it; It's got robots and stuff blowing up', therefore satisfying Bombers first 2 rules of movie making

now I realise it's a short movie

Still a bit BSG goes to Argentina but bettre for the fact that as a whole film, it completely refuses to explain itself and instead concentrates on blowing shit up, something from which we can all learn something I think. :likesitall:

Looks pretty good, plus it stars Steve Buscemi.

That does look pretty good, or average at the very least. :likesitall:

The cast is very interesting, but the trailer is not, particularly. Perhaps it's the nature of these indie-style films and their subtle humour, etc. Doesn't make good sound-byte material.

Indeed, it's the cast that piqued my interest. I expect it to be a "good film to watch", but I can't imagine anyone getting particularly excited about it.

I watched this the other day. It's exactly what you would expect. An enjoyable way to pass the hours and left me with a huge grin on my face.

Well worth a :sweep: 8)

I'm struggling to believe that.

Just when you thought Nicholas Cage couldn't redeem himself, he doesn't:
