Anyone watching Helix? Half watched the first 2 episodes, seems to be something between the andromeda strain and regenesis.
Seems worth a proper look, but not got around to it yet.

New thing about Silicon Valley by the guy who did Office Space:

I am moderately interested. Disclaimer: I haven't actually watched the trailer yet as I am at work. Still though: Office Space was humorous.

I watched it for you and it looks promising. Mike Judge also did Beavis & Butthead and King of the Hill, so adjust your expectations accordingly, although it looked more Office Space than either of those.

Re: New season talk type thread thing.
As most of you know Archer is in it's 5th season and while the first two episodes were pretty good, the last three were... kind of boring actually. They've been making the same jokes for four episodes now and it's getting a bit old, and instead of Archer Pam is now the big fuck-up. Don't get me wrong, I applaud it when program makers explore new directions but it's not really working so far. I'm hoping they're trying to pull a game of thrones and are working up to a "rains of Castamere" of sorts.

Apparently, the americans tried to remake Sirens, which was moderately clever, entertaining and based (loosely) on This Bloke's blog.
Instead, they made an unfunny, unintelligent, standard american sitcom. I would feign surprise, but I just can't be arsed.

I watched a few episodes of Sirens. Not bad, but I kind of drifted off it.

Marvel One Shot: All Hail The King
A 10 minute short film catching up with Ben Kingsley's character from Iron Man 3. Short, amusing, and with a very interesting reveal at the end.

I just noticed Bluestone 42 Series 2 has been occuring for a few weeks
Also, From Dusk till Dawn: The Series is apparently a thing, and has robert rodriguez involved, so might not be completely awful.

New season of Game of Thrones started on Sunday, and it was excellent. Now I just need to remember who everyone is.

I finally got round to breaking the lasses resolve and got her watching GOT, only problem now of course is that she's approaching the end of season 1, got a ways to go before I can watch the new one.

Yep, there's a bit at the end of the clip where they meet each other. Never seen Arrow though.
Also just found this:
Constantine

Looks to be more faithful to the source material (dodgy Scouse accent aside), but that said I did enjoy the film.
