Hmm, is it possible to snip a piece off and remove it from the liquid? I'm curious as to what happens when it's not in stasis.

Well, I'll dump the chip off with Ingress5 and head back to the ramp. I'll put the gas mask on and take up a position near the door down the ramp.

Technically you would need the chemistry skill for that, unsure why it's specifically listed as chemistry but its also the skill for doing lab type things and reading formulae. But as I think Smith knows his way round a lab then you know from experience that getting a piece out without destroying the rest of the sample is tricky. And it's trickier given the fact that you're stood deep underground in some random base without any specialist equipment. However if you want to give it a go then roll logic -1.

No door at the ramp deej, it slopes off and with the angle you can't tell if there's a door at the bottom either.
As for Ingress5 - the toy has remained silent about the chip, also the drones you had shadowing in front and behind you have stopped as they're no longer receiving commands, furthermore the security systems are now back online and no longer under the AI's control. If you want it back you better pester Joose!

You spaff about with your syringes and whatnot from your bag but can't find a way to get a proper piece of flesh out the tube without it either being all of it or a piece so small and mashed up by your efforts that you can't even see it anyway.

In that case, I'll go back and grab some of the coveralls and see if I can put them on over my jumpsuit as a disguise, just in case there are any guards or anything like that.
Disguise (3) + Intuition (3): 6, 1, 4, 5, 5, 5: 4 hits.
Then I'll head off down the ramp. I'll be sneaky just in case.
Infiltration (5) + Agility (6): 2, 3, 3, 1, 1, 2, 6, 6, 4, 4, 5: 3 hits.
I'll scout on ahead, see if I can find Aysun. If I find anything I will contact you guys.

Ok, the doctor that had gone from town had tried to work out the source of the beasts and was swallowed by the wilderness, potentially you guys would have found details of her findings in the clinic if you looked, as it is Doc Smith had got as far as she had a lot faster. Finding her body was not an option unless you had also wandered off in to the white and died.
The other thing in the gym was the puzzled broken guy who was all busted up essence wise. He was a plant from an unknown external horse who hadn't done a particularly good job of masking the work they had done to him. His head contained a bomb and some mental walls that meant he would have followed the commands without knowing why. As it is if Smith had fixed him up, you may well have come back to town to find a big fuck off hole in the ground or lots of dead bodies once his cyber had switched on.
The other thing in town was a parallel node and ar system, this was the black cockney riggers own secret set-up, as he wasn't a rigger he was also a plant to try and bring down the town and hide the fact that the facility had gone a bit wrong. He was controlling the drones and he was also the one who tried to blow the shit out of you with the missile strike.
The factory was automated and was churning out hypermetabolic beasts with the intent of providing a corp a shock troop horse to pour in to a battlefield and overwhelm technology and training in a rain of blood, acidic bile and numbers. But it went wrong about a week ago and the breach wasn't fixed by the factory drone systems hence the escape of the beasts, hence the need to shut down the town by cockney man who co-opted the huge drone horse from the factory and brain bomb was there from one of the surrounding nations to shut the place down mostly for being full of rich gun nuts and because one of their elders had done some seriously cheeky selling of land to the triple a for some fat monies and it all needed burying beneath the snow.
Aysun was on a timeline for what state she was in at rescue, you headed straight out so recovering her from the mess was straightforward after a boss battle of loads of beasts and the controller beasts. If you had delayed or taken more time in town then she would have started to mutate more based on the proximity of all the drugs and you would have ahd a far harder time rescuing her. Too long she would have been dead and it would have been time to call up Anytime with the very bad news that his very close friend was dead. That option lead in to an arc about Anytime going rogue from his day job on a vow to track down which corp it had been/which nation it had been and bringing ungodly pain to all kinds of people in an attempt to single handedly destroy them all.
Any questions about where you were at with it ask and I'll update.
