Hope it misses me.. You can tell the difference between the patrol car, and your good friend Nikolai, right?

I honestly don't think a grenade would do much to your transit tank Grimmie. Maybe scratch the paint a bit.

Well, the grenade blast hits the car with a fair old whack, and although it doesn't appear to do a great deal of damage, it does almost make the thing crash.
At that, the second cars driver shits it, and pulls out of the chase. He looks like he is heading back to the other car to help. Most likely, his higher ups have said "fuck this, we are not blowing up half of Seattle for some yak bint".
CHASE END.
Now what?

Jumping out of hotsim, and singing a sad Russian ballad for Lenin's miserable effort in that skirmish.
Will be sending him remotely over to the docks to see what we have waiting for us - with an aim to get him there before us.
If I'm in danger of losing connectivity I'll switch to satellite uplink.

Well hot damn! Nothing like a bit of action! Aw man I'm about out. Shit.
Leland finishes the last of the scotch in his flask.

Frank wrote:Right. Time to drop the package off and see if we get away breathing and upright. Someone place the call.
Frank reaches out for the back door of the van and pulls it shut after a last look at the receding pursuit cars.
Frank wrote:Well that was easier than I expected. I do think we'll get more company before we get to the docks however. Lets get a move on.
he then waggles his pack of red apples at Nik.
Frank wrote:Hey Nik, mind if I smoke in here?

Nikolai gestures at the side of the van, and then to his side.
Nikolai wrote:Smoke out firing-port or window. Sensitive electronics in here.

I'd like to project into astral space and head to the drop place and look for bad stuff.
Assense (4) + Intuition (4) = 5, 3, 1, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5: 3 hits.
I'll also cast a Detect Enemies horse 5 (DV: 3) and keep it sustained as I scope out the area.
Magic (6) + Spellcasting (6) = 6, 2, 6, 3, 3, 3, 5, 5, 4: 4 hits.
Drain Resist (DP 9) = 6, 3, 3, 1, 3, 3, 1, 2, 5: 2 hits, one stun.

Jon looks slightly disappointed
Jon wrote:Awwwww, they've gone? I guess all we got left is to blaze to the docks as fast as we can... try to keep up you lot!

I'll manoeuvre Lenin in front of Jon's car and take a picture of him posing like a badass.

Cant remember which of you said you were contacting Kitsune, but im sure one of you did. Sato answers, and tells you he will meet you at the docks.
Drone recon shows a handful of suited japanese people standing about next to a limo, right up against the harbourside. There is also what looks like a traditional suit of samurai armour set up in the midst of them.
Astral recon shows that the suit has one bigass spirit of man possesing it. Its at least horse 9. Im sure you will be relieved to know that the detect enemies spell isnt picking anything up.

oh yes very, very relieved.

Assuming we have reached the harbour in one piece
Jon wrote:Hello? What have we here? Can't say I like the look of that metal bugger. Anyone brought a can opener with them?

Frank to Leland wrote:A fucking what?! A suit of armour with a spirit of man in? Oh goody...
Okay, as you know the drones and normal weapons don't do shit to that. It'll probably kill Chopper before he's even had a chance to swear at it so it's basically you who could fight it if needed. Could you kick its ass or would it eat you up?
Frank to everyone wrote:Listen, we could try and set up a perimeter, but these guys are better armed and there's more of them. Plus there's that fuckling big assed spirit there, never mind all the shit kitsune is supposed to be able to do.
I think we'll just have to all go in like we've not fucked up anywhere. We deliver the girl and the message from that sinsmith prick and then see if we walk away. Not much else we can do.

Pete don't steal my text color! the whole point is that you can tell who is talking with a glance. You can't do that if two people share a color.
edit: nevermind, I must be colorblind lol
Leland wrote:Fran calm the fuck down, it's not going to attack us. It would probably kill me before I could do much to it either, but luckily we haven't pissed off the kuzas yet. They're not here to fuck us, they're here to pick up the girl so just shut up and let's make the hand off and get paid. We have completed our end of the deal so just be cool and we'll get out of this with our heads and limbs still attached.
Pants, I guess since you've got the most experience with these Yakuza types you can do the talking and I'll be there with you for support. Frank and N-Zo can handle the girl.
Once we make the handoff, I'm buying all of you drinks.

Al wrote:Yeah. No offence guys but I think we could do without any trigger happiness here. If N-Zo and Jon hang back with the girl, I'll go in with Leland and give them the good news.

Im guessing you park up nearish, so you dont have to drag the girl all the way across the dockyard
Sato turns to you as you approach, and bows politely.
You notice a small folding table set up next to him, with several small red origami boxes on it.
Sato, to Al wrote:Haynes-san, greetings. I trust you did not encounter too much difficulty? And the girl, she is unharmed?
