Will grab 2, in case we get stuck out.

EDIT: Mangler is Stocked with Slug Rounds, 603 has HEAP in it.

Yes, Eraser is carrying the Murderer instead of his basic Axe.

Since I don't think anyone can pilot the riverboats (which you see on the way: dark green, armoured patrol boats with a mounted 40mm grenade launcher), you're led to a large bare room with shower heads in the ceiling and a thick metal door on one wall. It has a sign on it saying EGRESS POINT and another which looks like this:

If you have no more prep a Shiver opens the door and silently ushers you through into a narrow chamber. There are nozzles in the ceiling here too, but they don't look like shower heads. There's a similar door on the other side of the chamber with no apparent way of opening it.

I'll assume you're all in. The other door rolls upwards to show you Cannibal Sector 4 at ground level. It's thick with muddy rubble and the sludgy remains of pulverised concrete, large puddles made of shell craters cover the ground, and here and there you can see bones jutting from the mess. The light is a little better now, and the searchlights are sweeping the ruined buildings in the distance about half a kilometer away. The river is not far away to the right, oozing through the blasted landscape. After the claustrophobia of the city that most of you have spent your life in, the open space is intimidating. Worse than that though is the quiet. The wall muffles the noise of the city to a quiet murmur, like the soundproofed buildings of Central, but instead of the sounds of air conditioning and shuffling office workers all you can hear is the rain pattering off your armour.

I'll pull up the map and plot a route to the last known location for our target. I think we can start with the most direct route and then figure it out from there.

Oop, missed the thing about wall wash. Hal grabbed a couple of cans too.

Most direct route sounds like a good plan to me. Lets not spend more time out here than we have to.

Sounds good! I'll take my motion scanner out and keep it handy, watching out for beeps and boops.

Bear with me. We have a wheezing Frother trying to catch up before you pass the point of no return. If we have no movement tonight I'll carry on tomorrow.

Sorry Jock, I don't want to lose to much momentum. I'll drop you in a the next convenient point.

The navamap shows the objective right by the river about eight kilometers away. The going is slow as you pick your way through the mud and water-filled craters. Eventually the going gets firmer as the craters become more sparse, the mud gives way to solid, if rotten, concrete, and the rubble of the ruined buildings lies in large chunks. Here, out of the range of the big guns mounted in turrets on the wall, you find evidence of death. Blood so ingrained into the concrete that even the rain can't wash it away. The odd chunk of human bone, large calibre bullet holes. Despite the lack of high explosive destruction which has created the landscape up until now, you find very little evidence of actual bodies. Nearby the quiet is punctuated by a muffled thump, quickly followed by a distant CRACK from the wall. Those of you with motion scanners see a couple of blips appear about 30m away to your left.

No worries Doggers, gives me time to read and digest where and what everyone is doing.

Forward or left? You're just entering the 'treeline' of buildings at the edge of the wall's killzone, and further along the edge you head the sound and saw the blips. Are you heading towards them?

Towards the blips, so to the left.

You leap off, dashing through the rubble. Immediately the blips scatter and vanish. When you get to the place they were you see a corpse slumped against a crumbling wall with fresh blood leaking into the rainwater. He's wearing rags, is filthy, and is ugly to the point of being possibly deformed. You can't see any evidence of what the movement was.

Okay, you trudge on. Now you're out of the killzone it's even quieter. You see no movement or signs of life, only the ruined city. Going is slow due to unstable rubble and collapsed buildings. What kind of marching order are you guys going to be doing? Things may happen on this journey.
