The ACP has a setting labelled 'Round start player count', which is set at 2. Might be that you can't change it, at least with the tool as it is. I have an admin password, but I've not sent it out yet as I'm not sure if it's meant to be for me and I set individuals up as admins, or if we all use the same one. It's certainly different from my Gameservers account. Any ideas? The tool I'm using (and currently the only one I know of that works) is Procon.

I'm going to wholeheartedly disagree with you there. The initial disorientation of not having a main menu in-game shouldn't last very long and what you're left with is a robust and easy to use system for finding servers to play on, organizing games with friends, and a fairly well integrated presentation of your stats. Battlelog is quite nice in my opinion. The only thing missing from it really is the ability to set options (graphics, keybinds, etc.) out of the game.

And I wholeheartedly agree with you there. Unlike the ingame browser of BACON, this actually works from day 1.

I would like to be able to install the game I received in the post today, but unfortunately that requires authorisation from an unresponsive server before it will even start.

I had auth problems. I downloaded a new version of Origin and it worked. Why it can't update itself though is beyond me. Also, anyone tried the Gun Club? Horribly broken it would seem. It crashes every time I click the box to make my profile private.

Haha, I can't play until tomorrow.

Despite it earlier passing the release day check with ease, after reinstalling and having to do the check again, it's now saying I can't play the game until the 28th (tomorrow).

How kind of EA.

Yep, telling me I'm early. Wonder if they made a cock up earlier then fixed it.

I have done this but just to confirm, the version you have is 8.3.1.9? (It's in Settings -> About)

Version 8.3.1.9 - 108188 is exactly what it says. It failed on me then told me that my key was already in use. I reinstalled Origin and it was fine after that. Not to say you're having the same problem of course.

You bought it on Origin though didn't you? So I suspect you've got an "American" copy as far as Origin classes it's games.

I think Doggers, Spoodie, possibly Pnut and myself all had physical disks delivered today.

Finally got on.

Very first impression: Oh god, that chatbox is horrible. Can I change it?

To be fair, if you look 12:15 here (couldn't find a picture), it is pretty atrocious.

That's at 1280x720 though and I'm sure most of us play at a higher res, but probably not all at 1920x1080.

While it wasn't my first impression, when I saw it, the chatbox was intrusive. However I often don't notice when people are typing things in the heat of battle, so at least I'll see it now.

My game keeps minimising and won't come back. Apart from that the quick game I had was superb.

Everything runs fine here, but I have the same artifacts I had in the beta and there seems to be at least a few others that have exactly the same problem. My card doesn't get higher than 55-60°C so it's certainly not because of overheating, and everyone else has a card similar to mine so it's most likely the drivers. Could other nvidia card users tell me if they have similar problems? It happens randomly but only on large maps.
