I had to look that up. The name of the book/film "Princess Bride" consists of an unfortunate combination of "trigger" words which caused me to ignore them completely.

'tis a very good book, and the film is not bad too. I myself avoided it for a long time purely because of the title.

I didn't even know there was a book. Is it the same tongue-in-cheek style and with the grandad Columbo character?

The film is definitely worth checking out. I've watched it recently and it's still a good film, with some famous actors from the time you should recognise and enjoy, like the one I mentioned above, Billy Crystal and the Wonder Years kid. Check it out: http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0093779/
