Me and Phoebe head for her work, you guys at the fellas house head to her place, the rest of you stick with the shivers, see if they know anything about her maybe?
Yeah sounds like we may be able to get to the victim quickly, and possibly even save her. I think we should try to find her ASAP.
Let's load up, if we're fast we might catch this guy.
I guess I'll go as fast as I can to get to the address.

Grimmie clasps his hand to his chin and goes to rub it thoughtfully, but then places it by his side - thinking better of messing up his beautiful paints.
Grimmie wrote:Well here's the thing, I'm a tactician, not a magician. I can't work off little to no information.

I say we head over as quickly as possible, scout-boy here can take a look around, and then I'll formulate a plan. I mean, we could perform a stake-out and just wait for this guy to turn up, or hop inside and warn this girl, see if she has a link to him or any of the other victims.
Let's get on the quickest mode of transport we can and head over.
If Deject would be faster on his scooter then we can meet him there?

If Deject was on his scooter he'd still be driving here from Uptown. You're pretty much guaranteed to be on foot while you're down here.

Guess we'll be running then.

K'trr, so you and I are heading to her office... sounds good. Let's go..doesn't sound like we have any time to lose.

K'Trr and Phoebe get to her place of work first, which is a small cafe. It's quite rare to find successful businesses down here. The whole sector is well below the poverty line, more akin to a third world shanty town. It's open, but speaking to the owner reveals she didn't show up for work this afternoon.

Soon after, Deject Grimmie and Eraser (was that right?) arrive at her home. It's relatively free of the decay prevalent in the sector, and the building looks like it was actually designed to be residential.

Yeah, Deject, Eraser and I went to her home. Seeing as Deject is probably still asleep, I'll progress stuff by doing some scouting myself.
Grimmie wrote:Huh, nice place for what it is.
Now let's have a little look-see.
Tactics - I want to make sure I scout the place up without being seen.
4,8 +7 = 19

Sneak - I'll compound that with not being heard, either.
8,5 +4 = 17

Climb - If I need to, I'll do a little climbing and take a look inside.
5,7 +3 = 15

Detect - And obviously, I wanna see if I can look inside, visually or with my IR goggles or motion scanner. Any information I can get.
10,3 +5 = 18

If everything seems normal, I'll go and knock on the door I guess.
It'd be better to get some information from her rather than just wait for her face to be ripped open.

If you're taking the time to get vantage points and look through the window and stuff, you'll see that there's no signs of anyone being home, although the view isn't great (windows aren't a big deal when you're underground). Knocking on the door has no effect.

Phoebe over coms wrote:Hey guys bad news, she is not at work and didn't show up today. Are you at her house yet? Was there a break in? We will head back towards her home, see if she attempted to head to work, and look for anything suspicious along the way that might indicate that she was abducted. Did she have any habits before she went to work such as going to a gym or visiting anyone? See you in a bit.
Phoebe and K'trr work back towards her home looking for any signs of a struggle or abduction along the way.

Streetwise (2) 3+9 = 14
Detect (4) 2+10 = 16

Nothing obvious, but then in the rubble-strewn streets of Lower Downtown violence is fairly common and the whole area looks similar to a warzone.

Grimmie leans against the doorframe and holds his microphone to his mouth.
Woah, woah. The house is empty and covered. I'm gonna do a little breaking-and-entering to look for clues.
See if you can stop at the café and ask around about her, maybe her boss might know something, or the regulars?

Any info on why she'd be a target would be great, at the moment we're clutching at loose ends.
I'll take a step back and see if I can shoulder-barge the door open without absolutely obliterating it.

Strength - Holy shit. Well, guess that was appropriate as I was using moderation?
1,2 +10 = 13

Or you could have just used the handle. It was unlocked. Ah well.

The apartment looks lived in but empty. It isn't as devoid of luxury as the others you've seen around here, but by your standards it's still pretty poor. The main difference is that it's quite neat and tidy. There's a bed in the corner with what is possibly someone asleep in it, although the covers are pulled over their head if they are so it's hard to tell for sure.

Grimmie winces.

I'll pop my goggles down and check for a heat signature, while stalking across the room to the bed.

Yep, there's a faint human shaped heat source under the blankets.

Pulling back the sheets, you suspect the time for warnings is past. Lying in the bed is the corpse of a painfully thin, dirty man. He looks as though he has been stabbed in the chest multiple times, and the edges of his mouth have been slit to give him a disturbing grin. The cuts around his mouth, though, are partially healed.
