FatherJackZ had a problem : Well known music critic Jim Pansey writes a complaint about the mass decline of songs with monkey in the title on your fan forum. What do you do?
you chose: Ignore him as he gave your sell out gig a bad review, and your fans insulted him constantly after his complaint. Write a song about how unintelligent monkeys are, even compared to your drummer, and craftily omit the word Monkey from the title
The monkeys are not happy! A rouge bunch escape from the local zoo gunning down all in their path. Athena Norcott of FatherJackZ FatherJackZ is killed!
I chose the other option you stupid game!

Ouch, that's a shitty one to get.

I have to admit, my interest is waning in this game now.

I've just had a gig offer and a couple of contracts and gold single and a gold album, so it's getting a bit more interesting. Mostly I like doing album covers, though - but I don't know how to actually make money with my design studio.

Anyone still playing this? I've managed to get uotp #50 in the normal league, closed my design studio and now have a label and a few signed bands to it. Doesn't seem to help me as much as the bands I'm signing. Anytime I pick # of albums/singles and a cut% that will net me a profit it tells me the band will refuse it. Humbug! Haven't made any plat releases yet, but have been getting a few gold, had a few bands play festivals, and making some good money playing bigger venues. (Though a member of one of my suck groups committed suicide from gigging too much.)

Pffft. You'll probably do quite well. I haven't logged for a couple of months now. No doubt I'm bankrupt a few times over.

I still play, haven't tried making a label or studio yet though.

Most money seems to come from:
Writing 2 songs for 3 days each, then releasing them together and promoting for 5 days.
Writing albums with 9 new songs on them.

I'll have to figure out how to utilize your design studio, all my albums just get released with the generic covers... even when I had my own studio.

My label does Rock-Metal bands, so if you ever make one let me know, and we'll work out a contract.

Presumably because they own the brand "Rockstar", which seems a little weak given it's an English word.

Well I'd say it was rock star and two words as opposed to 'Rockstar' trademark/copyright/registered.

How long have they been making the games?
