HereComesPete wrote:Wrong brewery! Well, my sisters husband works there so I guess you paid some of his wages with the beer drinking. It's all good. Theakstons best bitter is pish though imo, not even slightly bitter. XB and black bull are good session drinks.
Did you go to the red lane brewery/visitor centre or the white bear pub?
I think you need to go to black sheep and drink that too.

Yeah, I know it was the wrong brewery but there was a guy from Black Sheep in there having a drink, so I thought people might have known each other. I went to the visitor's centre, and found it pretty interesting. Tried one of each they had on tap, liked the Paradise and Old Peculiar most.

In hindsight, I reckon that Haynes probably cleared all of his furniture out of his office and put it in storage before we arrived.
He was probably terrified we'd wreck his antique desk and shoot his TV, before uprooting all the rubbish from his bin.

I don't know, I find that PC romance plots are kinda lame unless the players are actually involved.
Righto, I also like PRIZES!!

Welcome Punkchuck, I take it you sorted your character out? If you haven't already done so could you get a copy to me (I've not checked my email in a few days)? Cheers.
I sent it yesterday? Let me know if I should resend.

Detect's 4, roll was 16. That would have done it, but unfortunately the results are only significant to certain characters but I can't say who without giving something away.

Please, I'm a professional! Also, what Deject said.
Dirk wrote:Hey Phoebe - good to meet you. Ignore what these guys said, they make me sound like some sort of sleazy letch. I'm just an admirer of the opposite sex, much like an art critic surveying a particularly fine piece of art. Don't worry though, I promise to keep it professional, even if I must summon every last reserve to stop myself from commenting appreciatively of your looks.
Smooth.

Aha, a winner!
Roman, you think you've seen Risikko somewhere before. Racking your brains it occurs to you that he was one of the execs who arrived after you fought the Machine Cult last month.

Our standard modus operandi at this point in the investigation is to get the most amount of information we can from the contact, Mr. Risikko, then once we have a good idea of what needs to be looked into, we'll formulate a plan and go for it. Right now, I'm going to wait for Roman to finish playing AIX and continue because he's recognized our contact and the meeting will progress differently as a result.
And he's the squad leader.

Dirk wrote:Mr. Risikko is it? Pleased to meet you - my name is Dirk, allow me to introduce you to the rest of the squad. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you might have met some of us before.
Tell me if I'm speaking out of place, but did we see you shortly after a BPN involving a certain cult in Downtown. Can I deduce that this particular investigation is somehow linked to our previous encounter? We of course understand the need for discretion, but it would help us no end if we possessed the full facts before continuing.
Persuasion: 8,5,+5 = 18
Deej, I reckon it might be worth while chipping in something about the WR homeworld - he seems to have a thing for your race. Maybe you could sleep with him for extra credits?
Edit: as Deej says the standard MO is to get as much info as possible on White BPNs, then we generally run around like headless chickens chasing up tenuous leads, schmoozing with the citizens of Mort, shooting TVs, and finally getting a lucky break that more often than not ends in a big fight. It's emotional stuff.
