Two Chairs and much stumbling, until I listened to the commentary node and felt a right spaz.

Why thank you. I did try with the chairs, and thought fuck this, it's too tricky to be right. Then the thought occured that the rockets broke glass, why not try it on the tube too, it's a bit picky though, you have to shoot the very bottom of it, as if you were actually using the exhaust heat of the rocket not the explosive tip (twss)

Oddly, Both times I went and got a chair, put it in front of the vent and crouch-jumped in. no hassle, not at all difficult or wrong-feeling.

I tubed also. I went out of the room to avoid splash damage, and when I walked back in was dismayed to find no cube had dropped - it had, but it had fallen through the portal into the room with the rocket.

Judging by what I've read on the steam forum (and a mate at work) a lot of people used the chair/PC solution to the vent puzzle. After trying that myself I realised they must have put in a more elegant solution in-place. So I opened a portal to the source of the rockets and elegantly directed them randomly round the room until they hit the tube, which I hadn't even noticed before.

Steam Forums wrote:The cube never spoke, ever. What is with all these people saying "I love the cube!" and stuff, it was just a frigging cube! Is it supposed to have a voice? Does it have a randomly selected voice? (Sometimes friendly, sometimes evil, sometimes silent?)
I dont' get it. There's this weird cult of companian cube and as far as I could tell it was just an inert cube. And am I right in thinking there's no way to get through that room without incinerating it? I messed around for ten minutes before giving up and chucking it in the furnace.

Ha, loser, his cube didn't speak to him, he can't have given it enough special loving.

Surely that tells you something about gamers?
The majority seem to have used the chair/random object rather than the portal method.
I'm sure that says something like we're simple and like building or something.
