I don't play World Of Warcraft, however personally I think it's daft using Ventrillo, when 5punk has it's own Teamspeak server on Bukkake.

Speak nicely to Berk (and possibly chuck him a donation or something if you're feeling generous) and I'm sure he will be able to create a World Of Warcraft room for yourselves, and that way 5punkers aren't using multiple voice software programs

we had a good argument about headsets once here

Also, we're licensed to host teamspeak, but not ventrilo. :P

But at the end of the day we dont have to be licenced to use ventrillo, and seeing as one of us can't acctually use teamspeak, then its kind of harsh us doing it when WoW is so fun with voice chat.

My point was more that everyone is fully setup for using teamspeak (apart from one person) and we're setup for hosting teamspeak.

we can't host ventrilo (due to not being able to get a license for it easily), only one person is incapable of using teamspeak.

Why is it that 1 person cant use TS?, even if they don't have a microphone then they can still use the program to listen in.

Good point, who can't use teamspeak, and if so, what's the problem as it might be something that can be fixed???

I didn't realise someone had an issue with it, which was why I posted what I did earlier

if i remember correctly, rathen has a problem with his onboard sound, the microphone being noisy.

But surely that would be a problem when using ventrillo as well?

(I'm only guessing mind)

most likely. though it's possible that ventrilo has some noise cutout features.

but then it's not impossible to get nforce2 (the ones with poor mics) motherboards to sound ok.

nah, ventrillo has no problems, one of my guildmates on another server occasionally puts up a server for us when we're doing something important and we've had no troubles with it

Edit: Yeah, rath's mike was being noisy when he wasn't talking, but now him computer won't even run TS

Yeah, I used to have an onboard noise problem - but I got a real soundcard now and it works a treat. It just refuses to run teamspeak - something about a primary caller already being in use. It lets connect to the server, but mutes both input and output. I can't even find anything on their site/forums about this issue.
