I'm really enjoying this, online is much better than any rts I've played before. Most of the servers are 8v8 and you have to pick armor, infantry, support or air and you can only spawn stuff from that category which means you can only choose from maybe 5 or 6 different things but it enforces team play because for example as a tank you're very vulnerable to air units so it's best to work with someone with air units. Also since armored transport is ground armor, it's pretty useless unless working with someone with infantry.
I see some good 5punky games on this

i just gave this a quick go and thought it was great, although i didnt see anyone using infantry online it was mainly air and tank units and the occasional person playing support, although its still great fun, would be much better with a bunch of 5punkers and ts though.
will be interesting to see how the single player game is.
this looks like a buy for me when its released

People mostly use support and air, i haven't been either but support are good because of the artillery that can shoot half way across the map, deadly and annoying. Air are also good because infantry and armor are weak against them. I personally prefer armor but it's such a team-centric game that any organized group can wipe the floor with the rest.
Little tip: if you want to rack up the points, your units need to survive. they gain experience for every kill and if they get damaged you can (for 10 support points) get a little repair buggy (that also gets experience for repairing) that will sit there and repair (although it's really weak but repairing does earn you more support points)
