I've always been reasonably lucky with Steam, had it since all you could do on it was play Half-Life through it, and bought Condition Zero through it. "This is all of teh fancy," I thought, "why can't all games be bought this way?"
The number of different PCs I've installed games on over the last ten years is...well, it's lots - and it's been a piece of piss each time, thanks to Steam.
Initally it meant that UK and US release schedules were merged, too - but they've moved away from that in recent times - HL2 and DoD:S were delayed over here, and you just can't buy Medieval II: Scrotal War over it.
