Not to mention we've never done *anything* to harm the game or reasonable players.

Yeah, we buggered the CP fairly brutally, but tell me york isn't a better place for it.

As far as the signs go, all 5punk as a whole can accept responsibility for is the wicker man project. however, in reality that was was a plan concocted by 2 of us, executed by 4 of us with others running backup.

Any signage outside of york is;
1) Harmless, really, wtf is it gonna do to the game?
2) Not endorsed by 5punk, if it is performed by individual 5punkers, that's their choice.
3) A bit of a laugh.
4) Going to get worse if we keep getting told we're not allowed to do it.

Thanks for making your point in a mature and reasonable way Joe. Guys, thanks for taking the argument in a mature and reasonable way.

On pretty much every other Shartak board issues like this degenerate into slanging matches and name calling. It won't happen here - my modstick will make sure of that. I'm glad that we've only so far attracted the reasonable minority of Shartak.

As for the sign thing, Berk pretty much sums it up with his last point. Ask us reasonably to stop because you have issues with something we're doing and chances are we will do - most of what we do are just us pissing about, we don't really care about it. Unfortunately as soon as people start threatening and calling us things we get all revolutionary and start poking them to see their reaction.

Such is what's happened in this case. Rob's reaction is bound to cause some feedback from individuals because of the type of people 5punk (as a community) attract.

Don't let it put you off putting your argument here though - Zydd explained to us about Lukas and we've left him alone because of it. Had he not done we'd probably have had a new CP to focus on.

edit: seriously, there was no way I could possibly resist that. The rest of what Dog Pants said was right on the money though.

That IS what I was going for. I'll concede you have a point, though I'm not totally convinced by your arguments. Still, given that 5punk wasn't responsible for the Derby signs, what say we drop it? If I have your word OOC that you didn't do it, I'm sure Rob will accept it.

That's fair enough. You're perfectly entitled to disagree with us here and question our motives. It's entirely OOC so as long as you do it in the manner to which you have been doing you should get a reasonable answer (deliberately puerile in-jokes aside).

Personally I can't say either way. I've not been here for two weeks and I can't see any evidence of it on the forums, but that's not to say it wasn't any of us. It wasn't an official 5punk action, but individuals will always have their own agenda outside the group. I'd say carry on as you were in character, but bear in mind OOC that we've no agenda as far as Derby is concerned.

It is tempting. And of course we'd need plenty of advertising to let everyone else know about it...

The swear filters on 5punk are a bit... different. For example, "g a y" (without the spaces) becomes "faaabulous", and "W o W" becomes... well, try it and see ;)

Welcome to 5punk, by the way. 8)

I see...well, there was talk of a Derby Hospitallers line-dance commitie, and G3N had to seduce Lutheran...
But overall, we're not that fabulous in Derby.

Ok, now my wife is randomly shouting "WILLIES!". In fact I got a voicemail today that was entirely "WILLIES!" for about 20 seconds.

I'm really not sure if it's a good or bad thing - but if it's a positive thing in the way I'm hoping, I ain't telling you lot :)
